Art and Design Academy

We are investing in the development of a new and exciting course area for 2012. Our Art and Design Academy will provide one of the most captivating and inspiring locations for studying art that you could possibly find.

It will provide:

• Studio space for every discipline
• Exhibition areas (including outdoors)
• A well-supported networks of PCs and Apple Macs
• Access to our beautiful Estate

In addition, our Learning Resource Centre offers you access to an extensive range of multi-media resources.

The College’s ongoing commitment to maintaining up-to-date, industry-standard technology means that you’ll be able to produce the highest-quality work, meeting or even exceeding the demands of modern practice in art, craft and design.

Our resources provide a wide range of industry standard software for art and design, including image manipulation, page layout, illustration, animation (2D and 3D), digital video editing, DVD authoring, sound editing, website design, 2D and 3D CAD as well as dedicated software for fashion.

Fundamental to the College’s ethos are experimentation, innovation, risk-taking, questioning and discovery, all carried out within a highly supportive learning environment.
