Student Support

We want you to be able to enjoy your time at BCA and achieve your full potential. Whether you need help with your studies or on a personal matter, BCA have a range of experienced and dedicated staff who are here to help you.

Your Tutor

Each programme has a tutor who is responsible for the day to day co-ordination of your programme. They will arrange for you to have individual one to one tutorial time on a regular basis and these tutorials will give you a chance to discuss any matters that may be affecting your work, progress and well-being at College. You will meet your Course Tutor on your first day. Your Tutor should be the first person that you go to if you are experiencing any problems with your programme.

Student Manager

The Student Manager has responsibility for your wellbeing whilst at BCA and oversees all the social and fundraising
activities. The Student Manager is also a designated Safeguarding Officer.

Student Development Officers

Led by our Student Manager, our Student Development Officers are in charge of day-to-day matters and the social side of your BCA life. You will get used to seeing them all over campus, overseeing The Zone and encouraging you to get involved in all the activities that we offer.

Counselling

It is good to talk – therefore the College employs a professional counsellor. The Counsellor can help you explore any problems you might be having and aims to help you to
find your own solutions.
