Our Health and Social Care programmes extend the ethos of care beyond the experience of early years and are ideal for those wishing to work with adults or children.
The programmes are designed to prepare students for work in the health and care sector. They aim to provide the academic knowledge and practical understanding required to progress into a career in nursing, health studies or other care related professions.
Work experience is an essential element of this qualification and placements are with a number of health care organisations such as community settings, hospital wards, pharmacists and day centres.
