The A1 (Assessor) qualification is suitable for experienced workers who wish to assess in their chosen field. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in your field, for example an experienced Manager or Supervisor. We are able to support A1 Assessor training in Early Years, Customer Services, Horticulture and related industries.
The course is taught either in the evening or during the day. You will be supported in the workplace to take two candidates through three units of a National Vocational Qualification. Candidates on this course will be required to build a portfolio of evidence.
The V1 (Verifier) qualification is suitable for current Assessors. Candidates
will be required to carry out and evaluate internal assessment, support
Assessors, monitor the quality of Assessors’ performance and meet
external assurance requirements.
You will be supported throughout the training by regular classroom based sessions and standardisation meetings, as well as one to one sessions with your Assessor, email and telephone contact.
It is anticipated that you will complete your qualifications within a nine month period.
