Entry Requirements

HND courses require you to have a Level 3 qualification (i.e. Extended Diploma, A Levels) and GCSE Grades C and above in Maths and English.

Foundation degrees have their own entry requirements. See course information for details.

We welcome applications from mature students who may not have a formal education background but can demonstrate the ability to cope with the demands of study at this level.

International Students

BCA is a great local college for International Students to study. All courses are taught in English and thus a basic standard (IELTS at 5.5 or similar) is required.

Admissions Procedure

Applications for our FD courses should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Applications for HND courses should be made directly to the college using the application form at the back of this prospectus.

When to apply?

All applications thr ough UCAS (FD) should be made by 15 January 2012. Applications to BCA (HND) must be made by 15 January 2012 initially. We accept late applications for HNDs (subject to places being available) in the following waves:

Wave 1: 16 January – 30 April 2012
Wave 2: 1 May – 31 July 2012

The earlier you apply, the more chance you have of gaining a place.
