Full-time Courses: Level 3 Extended Diploma in Environmental Sustainability

The new BTEC Extended Diploma in Environmental Sustainability has been developed in partnership with employers to build your knowledge and understanding of environmental issues such as climate change, renewable energy, resource efficiency and biodiversity.

The diploma will also develop your practical skills, focusing on the steps that need to be taken within industry to minimise environmental impact –  and so enhancing your employability skills.

It will provide the practical environmentalists of the future ? specialists in water pollution control, water and wastewater treatment, waste management, facilities management and local authority environmental control.

Successful students who wish to continue in education may progress to a Level 4 qualification such as a Foundation Degree or Degree programme in a related subject area, including geography and environmental science.
