Full Time

To apply for a place on a full time programme you can download an application form here. Please complete and send back to us at Student Services at the address above.

We will contact you on receipt of your application form and invite you into College for an informal interview.

After your interview, we will send you a letter confirming the conditions of your offer, which is usually based on your exam results. Please don’t worry if you don’t meet the grades required to enter onto the course you have applied for, we offer many alternative courses at different levels.

During the summer prior to you starting your course, we will send you a Student Information Pack. This pack provides you with all the information you will need to know about starting your course at BCA. There will also be various forms you will need to sign and return to us before you join us in September.

Part Time

To apply for a part time course:

You can download an enrolment form here, complete it and send it back to us with your payment attached to Admissions at the address above.

Or alternatively you can bring it along with your fee to the College between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Your payment and form must be received no less than five days before the start of the programme. Joining instructions will be sent in time for the start of your course.

There are reduced fees and exemptions available on some programmes to eligible learners, look for those marked £R. To see if you qualify, check the course code and refer to the section on fees and finance.

Essential Enrolment Information

Registration and Exam Fees (non-refundable)
All registration and exam fees are payable at the time of enrolment. If you are exempt from tuition fees you will still have to pay these charges, unless you are aged 16 -18.

Refund of Fees
Refunds of fees are not available other than in exceptional circumstances, please contact Student Services for further guidance.

Students aged under 16 years
Students under the age of 16 can apply for part time courses; you will be required to provide a letter from your Head Teacher agreeing to your undertaking the course at BCA. The fees described in this prospectus may not apply so please contact us for further advice.

International Students and Fees
The fees described on this website are available to students who have resided in the European Economic Area for three years preceding the course start date (classified as ‘home’ students). If you do not meet this criteria (classified as an International Student) please contact us for further advice. Students granted ‘indefinite leave to remain’ in the UK as asylum seekers may be treated as ‘home’ students if they are in receipt of a means tested benefit, otherwise the fees will be assessed at the international students rate.

Sponsored Students
If your employer or another organisation is paying your fees we can invoice them directly upon receipt of a purchase order, BCA sponsorship form or letter of confirmation of payment. Payment is due within 15 days of receipt of invoice.

Course Cancellations and Refunds of Fees
The College reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient students enrol. We will give appropriate notification (by phone and in writing) to those students already enrolled. Refunds of fees paid will be made within fifteen working days of the notification to cancel the course.
