This is a three day course consisting of two days’ of tuition and one day’s assessment. The course covers the use of a knapsack sprayer looking at the legislation, interpreting product information, personal safety, storage and disposal of pesticides, environmental protecting and record keeping. The two days’ tuition is followed by an assessment day where candidates will undertake the PA1 foundation unit which covers the legislation through the approved code of practice and the PA6 unit which assesses their practical skills.
