Food
The Courtyard Cafeteria operates a complete service for breakfast and lunch – which always includes a vegetarian option.
Drinks as well as snacks are available throughout the day (Mon-Fri*) and as well as the student social centre and bar in the evenings.
Room charges include 3 meals a day (Mon-Fri only*).
* At weekends, hostels operate on a self-catered basis. All over 18 blocks have a fridge, microwave and food preparation area. A weekly supermarket mini-bus trip can be arranged for residents without personal transport.
Wardening Team
Our accommodation is managed by the Student Manager, assisted by a team of Wardens. Together, they offer a 24 hour on-call service at the campus during term time. The Warden Team aim to provide an enjoyable, safe and supportive environment and also organise and take part in a varied programme of social and sporting activities.
The social side of things
All students have the opportunity to help run the Student Executive. As well as providing representation, the Exec organise parties, balls and other activities throughout the year.
Residents can enjoy college life to the full with social and sporting opportunities, whilst making new friends within an active student community.
Fresher’s Week starts the “ball” rolling , followed by our end of term parties. The summer ball completes the whole year in style.
Room fees
Boarding Options: Please note all fees need to be paid upfront prior to commencement of contract with the exception of those applying for Learner Support Fund who will be invoiced for 20% upfront and the remainder upon completion of the awards process. The college does not offer a payment plan option, however will be able to pass information to you of a credit agency suitable for boarding loans.

Fee Breakdown: Option A= £95 pcw / Option B= £115 pcw. Please note, Learner Support Fund applications are not guarantee to be awarded. Please make sure you have the funds to cover your accommodation before accepting any offer made.
Please note: Charges include all bills and basic cleaning service. Students under the age of 18 are only eligible for option A.
A £150 damages and fines deposit is required before a room can be reserved. Five day lodgings are Sunday 7 pm until Friday 7 pm.
Students live in blocks according to their age and gender.
Students over the age of 18 are usually placed in separate blocks with a more relaxed set of rules and regulations.
Offers are made on a first-come, first served basis.
Offers are prioritised subject to your home location and suitability of learner for semi-independent learning.
Some offers may require a residential interview to assess suitability for independent living.
School references may be assessed for new students/applicants.
Tutor references relating to behaviour and disciplinary records will be sourced for returning students and previous residents.
Previous residents will have their stay with us reviewed to assess suitability for independent living.
Applicants will need to ensure they have adequate financial plans in place for the payment of residential fees.
