The aim of this course is to support current ALFIE students with their transition into work after they have completed the work and life skills course.
– Course runs all year
– Students attend college once every half term for either a group or 1:1 session with the Job Coach. The session could cover specific training aims raised by the work placement on a visit or could be broader training around being in the workplace ( 6 sessions)
– Students attend their work placement weekly as normal
– Students receive a visit once every half term from the Job Coach at work for observation, training and feedback in the workplace (6 visits)
– Students receive in total 12 weeks of coaching
– Will set up a work book that follows RARPA with specific objectives for each industry i.e. retail, horticulture, animal

This course is suitable for students who have already completed the ALFIE Work and life skills course and are either – working with the ALFIE life coach to gain a suitable work placement or have started their employment.
You must be interested in gaining suitable employment and be keen to progress in the work place environment.
