Course information

Unit 1: Using counselling skills
Unit 2: Introduction to counselling skills theories
Unit 3: Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
Unit 4: Counselling skills and personal development
To complete the Unit 4 assessment, You will need to demonstrate particular skills via either; a video recording submission, or an appropriate witness will be needed to observe the learner demonstrating the skills and completing a witness statement.

-An appropriate witness is classed as any person who has relevant experience, knowledge or qualifications in counselling skills. Contact can be made to the witness to validate their qualifications and experience.

On average 8-12 weeks. Maximum time allowed will be 16 weeks from the date you are first enrolled.

This remote online learning course allows you to study around your commitments and in a cost-effective way, studying on the go or in your own home and at a time that suits you. You will have the freedom to revisit areas of the course as little or as much as you like using online learning materials that you can study at your own pace. Support available from qualified tutors.
