Chainsaw Refresher Course


Course Information

In accordance with government guidelines, we shall adhere to the current social distancing rules of maintaining 2m apart on all of our courses.

City & Guilds NPTC recommends all operators update their skills for 20-03 CS30 Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting tickets with a refresher course every 5 years.  

This course covers the latest health & safety issues and legislation relating to using chainsaws in the work-place. It takes the operator through various maintenance activities and the underpinning knowledge surrounding those tasks, Cross cutting timber is covered as is assessing timber and selecting the appropriate cutting sequence to cope with tension and compression. You will be trained by an approved City & Guilds NPTC Assessor and provided with a BCA Certificate of Attendance.
