About the Course
This exciting but gentle module aims to investigate and create a better understanding of what health and well-being means as well as exploring ways in which students can look after their own health and happiness.
Each week there will be a focus on an aspect of health (physical or emotional health) and explore it in fun ways. Topics will include subjects like personal hygiene, first aid, dental care, and the importance of sleep. We will incorporate gentle exercise and relaxation as well as exploring the benefits of immersing ourselves in local nature.
The aim would be to integrate classroom learning along with practical activities and gentle exercise. These classes will be taught using differentiated teaching methods and will involve small amounts of written work and some creative activities.
