Course Overview

If you use a tractor this qualification will help you prove your ability as part of your work in agriculture, horticulture or other industries. Brush up your skills, or learn them from scratch. The course covers safe driving of a tractor, pre-use maintenance, safety checks and recognition of controls and instruments.
Courses run over 2 or 3 days, depending on experience.

Course information

We’ll guide you through the theory behind tractor driving, with sessions on key health and safety issues. You’ll also receive plenty of hands-on experience behind the wheel. Basic operations and manoeuvring will be covered, as will using attachments, trailers and the power take-off (PTO) shaft.
