
Level E1 – Introduction to Personal Progress (higher support needs)
About The Course

This course is designed to meet the needs of learners with severe learning difficulties (SLD) who will benefit from 1:1/1:2 support.

Entry Requirements
Students must be working at Standards 2-3 or above in English and maths and be able to work towards becoming more independent in accessing all areas of the campus.
Suitability for the programme will be assessed on an individual basis, at interview and during the first six weeks of the programme.

If successful, students will be encouraged to progress on to the Level E1 Developing Personal Progress (lower support needs) course.

- Community Participation
- Work Experience – possibility of work experience
Entry Level Award in Personal Progress
By continuous assessment which will include practical tasks and activities. Students will be supported in building a personal portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the tasks they have undertaken.
Foundation Studies run the BCA Shop where all students have the opportunity to gain onsite work experience. There may also be the possibility of off-site work experience.
