About The Course

Arts and Culture contributes over £10bn to the UK economy each year. With audiences rising to over 18 million a year, there has never been a more exciting time to enter the industry. Our study programmes reflect the fantastic opportunities available in the performing arts industry and beyond.

This study programme is an ideal foundation for students who learn through engagement in practical projects, workshops, showcases and live performance. Our students learn about acting, voice, dance and movement alongside an exciting exploration of a wide range of performance styles and genres.

You will learn through a combination of workshops, theory sessions, practical assignment work, rehearsals and regular reflective practice. To compliment your learning we organise a range of theatre trips.

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at grade 2 or above, including maths and a grade 3 or above in English. Some previous drama, dance and/or singing study would be advantageous but is not essential.

Progression to Level 3 Performing Arts (depending upon overall grade, attendance, skill  and English and maths results).

An apprenticeship or entry level job in the creative industries.
