Theatre and the Performing Arts is currently worth in the region of £70 billion to the UK economy and our study programmes reflect the fantastic opportunities available in the performing arts industry and beyond.
WHY CHOOSE BCA?
We have many spaces where we can create magical and engaging theatre, indoors and out. As well as our Dance and Rehearsal Studio we use other spaces to develop and perform creative work; the mansion, the woods, the conference centre and the gardens.
Working closely with our media, art and foundation departments and visiting practitioners and local communities we develop your skills to produce engaging performance pieces.
We discover and develop a range of performance styles and genres; equipping you with a diversity of experience. These range from traditional stage work through to storytelling, pop-up theatre and immersive promenade performances.
Our module choices enable you to develop a range of useful and transferable skills giving you a broad experience of the performing arts business, including front of house, stage management, performance, set, costume and prop design/build.
