BCA (Berkshire College of Agriculture) is a Further and Higher Education college, based just outside Maidenhead, offering a range of courses from Entry Level to Foundation Degree.
Our course covers various aspects of safe working practices, safe use of tools and equipment, legal and legislative codes of practice, tool and cutting operations, component removal and refitting techniques. Experience is offered on a wide range of vehicles including horticultural, domestic and light commercial vehicles.
If you are in years 10-13 at school, our taster day will allow you to experience and participate in hands-on practical sessions while spending a day at the college.

Sturdy shoes or safety boots must be worn, trainers are not suitable. Please do not wear loose-fitting clothes and bring overalls if you have them or wear old clothes. If you have long hair, this must be tied back for any practical sessions.
Please be aware when completing the below form you must specify any medical conditions, allergies and or additional learning needs. If necessary please continue onto a separate document and submit to completed form. (Please also be aware that if you require additional learning support we can not offer this on any of our Taster Days, so it is essential that you organise support to attend with you, and please let us know who will be attending on your booking form).
