HOW DOES THE COLLEGE COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS AND CARERS?
BCA recognises the important support parents and guardians offer their sons or daughters and communicates in a variety of ways with them. These usually include:
- Opportunities for parents to attend interviews
- Learner Progress Reviews posted to parents
- Parents’ Evenings
- Invitations to attend meetings with Personal Tutors where concerns have been raised (progress, behaviour, commitment, attendance, disciplinary action etc.)
The College will always seek to keep parents/guardians informed about any issues affecting students.
Parents/guardians should feel free to contact the Personal Tutor, in the first instance, if they wish to discuss their son/daughters progress or other matters.
BCA will work with you to ensure that there is clear and consistent communication with staff.
We welcome any input from you to enable us to support your son or daughter to achieve their full potential.
Please note that due to Safeguarding and Data Protection reasons the College can only provide information relating to students to their immediate next of kin.
