We provide three levels of football here at BCA. For the elite players we have our Maidenhead United Academy. Below this we have the BCA Football academy which acts as a development squad for the Maidenhead United Academy. We also have a recreational football programme where players can train without the pressure of playing for one of the academy teams every week.
The structure of our academy is detailed below:
All of the players in the academy will train for six hours per week and this is built into their timetables. The Maidenhead United Academy squad will play their fixtures in the prestigious Conference Youth Alliance league and the BCA Football Academy will play in the local Tactic colleges league.
All players within both academy teams will have access to:
- UEFA licenced coaches
- Specific goalkeeping sessions
- Support from Sports Scientists, Psychology and nutrition experts
- Match analysis sessions with all home matches being recorded
- Individual kit packages
The types of player we are looking for will be:
- Hard Working
- Have the correct attitude
- Willing to learn
If you feel that you have the attributes above then we would be very interested to hear from you.
At BCA your education comes first and any football players not up to date with their coursework or not applying themselves in the way we expect will be suspended from playing in fixtures until this behaviour or work rate improves.
Each academy level has its own separate webpage so feel free to browse all 3 pages and get more information on how the academy runs and what we expect of our players.
