With over 2,000 learners, BCA is the pre-eminent provider of further education and professional training in Maidenhead and the surrounding area. We provide a wide range of vocational, academic, and occupational courses to 16–19 year-old students and to adult learners, as well as a successful Schools programme for 14-16 year olds.

You’ll appreciate our generous leave entitlements of 35 days per annum for lecturing staff and 24 days per annum for support staff (pro-rata for part-time employment), all in addition to the statutory Bank Holidays.

On-site Free Car Parking
We operate a free car park for employees and students.
We have onsite kennels which staff can apply to hire for their dog/s for a very reasonable monthly fee. Spaces are limited and subject to availability.
Caterers BaxterStorey run several food and beverage outlets around the campus, all providing a wide range of high quality, locally sourced and reasonably priced meal options. There is also a well-stocked College shop run by our Foundation Studies students.

Work Life Balance Support
We understand that situations arise where employees need time away from work which may include bereavement, emergency time off for dependants or time off for public duties, in addition to leave such as maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental & parental Leave.
Term-time Only Working
We have a number of support roles within the College that offer term-time only working.
If you enjoy keeping fit, the College gym has recently been updated to include some state-of-the-art fitness equipment. We offer free use of the gym (following an induction) to employees.

Health & Wellbeing
We understand the importance of health and wellbeing, organising a variety of events and initiatives throughout the year to promote employees physical and mental wellbeing.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
We offer a complimentary EAP to all employees. BCA’s EAP provider is on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide practical advice and where appropriate, emotional support to help employees manage any problems or issues effectively. There is also the option for face-to-face counselling sessions free of charge if required. This service is available to all colleagues and their immediate family. Examples of issues that colleagues may wish to seek help with include family, domestic, legal, financial, emotional or relationship problems.
Childcare Voucher Scheme
The College participates in a Childcare Voucher Scheme which gives a tax break for working parents. Further details can be obtained from www.computersharevoucherservices.com
We are very fortunate to have the Busy Bees nursery on-site which provides childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. If you require further information regarding the nursery, please call 01628 825230.
