ALFIE students recently took part in an inspiring cookery session led by Jan Murray from the Newbury & District Agricultural Society. The hands-on workshop introduced students to making delicious seasonal soup while highlighting the importance of shopping locally and using fresh, sustainable ingredients.
The session was a great success, with students building practical cooking skills, learning about food provenance, and – best of all – enjoying the tasty results of their hard work. A big thank you to Jan for delivering such an engaging and memorable experience for our students.
