Academy of Sport

BCA offers a wide variety of sporting academies to all of our students that offer gifted sports people the opportunity to nurture and develop their sporting talents whilst studying to gain a recognised qualifications.

Maidenhead United FC badgeOur expansive playing fields, and fully equipped onsite facilities provide a perfect setting for athlete development. The new Sports Hall and changing facilities are first class, along with a state-of-the-art health and fitness suite with specialised areas for strength and conditioning for all our academy athletes.

All programmes involve regular coaching, strength and conditioning programmes, nutrition plans and medical support as well as individual player development programmes to nurture and develop players individual sports talents.

Our athletes will then represent the College in fixtures as part of national and international league and cup competitions.

Students will typically be enrolled on and studying a full-time college course whilst taking part in sport. As an individual, you can still play and compete for your local club.

Our Sports Academies are open to all 16-19 year old students (who show the required levels of motivation and ability) regardless of the combination of subjects that you choose to study.
