Early Years

Our Early Years courses focus on the key knowledge required to work in the industry combined with a strong vocational emphasis.

Early Years at BCA

As an Early Years student, you will learn how children play as well as how activities and observations are carried out to support children’s learning and development. At higher levels, you will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge to support children’s learning and development.

Whether you want to build your functional skills alongside an introduction to Early Years or you want to gain your Early Years Educator (EYE) qualification, we have a course to fit your needs. BCA has much to offer, which includes:

  • A team of well qualified and supportive staff
  • An onsite nursery catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years
  • Trips to a Forest school
  • Opportunities to visit specialist schools
  • Opportunities to obtain First Aid qualifications

Our Early Years students are based in both our purpose-built Science Building & our Health & Sciences Centre. Take a 360-degree tour of these areas by clicking on the above locations.
