On Sunday 28 September, BCA is proud to host the Royal East Berks Agricultural Association‘s 172nd Ploughing Match and Show – a traditional celebration that brings together over 2,000 people from our local community.
On the day you can enjoy:
– Ploughing Competition – Over 40 vintage & modern ploughs with heavy horses competing
– Dog Show – Starts 12:30 pm (registrations from 10 am)
– Domestic Produce Competition – Cakes, jams, handicrafts & flower arranging (entries before 10 am)
– Brass Band – Live traditional music
– Refreshments & Food – Cakes, bar & food stalls
– Trade Stands – Browse and shop local goods
– Produce Auction – Take home fresh local produce
– Vintage Machinery Display – Classic farm equipment on show
– Children’s Activities & Rides – Fun for the whole family
– Profits in aid of Thames Hospice & Thames Valley Adventure Playground
