This course involves studying units that look at how children learn and play, how to provide them with a safe and healthy environment, children’s rights and responsibility, and healthy children’s diets etc. You will be working in college and also have the opportunity for off site visits
This course is taught at the BCA campus in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with access to specialist facilities and lecturers with industry experience.

This course will take place on Thursdays and can be studied alongside an Academic day if desired
L1 Award (1 year) Certificate (2 years) in Childcare.
You can progress onto a 16-19 year old full-time programme in Childcare at BCA or another site within the Windsor Forest Colleges group.
There is an annual charge of £40 on enrolment that goes towards trips/visits/extra materials/resources throughout the year.
A Schools T-Shirt is also required for off-site visits.
