Financial Support

At BCA, we believe that a student’s financial circumstances should not be a barrier to learning and we, therefore, have several bursaries to help with your college-related costs.  BCA aims to use Government bursary funds to ensure financial support reaches those students who are most in need. Funds are used in the most effective and efficient way possible to ensure the maximum number of eligible students can access financial support.*

All bursaries are subject to 92% attendance and adherence to the College Code of Conduct.

*All decisions about which students receive a bursary are made on a discretionary basis and families will need to meet the required criteria shown below. Funds are limited and we encourage students to apply early to avoid any disappointment.

Financial Support (Bursary) Applications for September 2024 are now open

The college may be able to offer financial support to students with household incomes below £30,000 (after-tax), and those who are in local authority care or care leavers.

Financial Support can assist with travel passes and childcare costs. In some cases, it can also provide free college meals.

In order not to delay your application for the September start, we encourage any student either starting at the college or returning in September to apply early. Please note- Students will need to apply for financial support every year of study, regardless of having a previously successful application.

Please note that when completing your application, you must provide the required evidence as stated on the application, failure to do some could delay your application.

If you have any issues when applying or you have any questions, our team at sixth form can be contacted at 01753 793368 or by email  financialsupport.bca@windsor-forest.ac.uk

During the summer holidays, there may be a slight delay with responses, but we will endeavour to respond to everyone in a timely manner.
