Course Overview

This agriculture course is full of hands on experiences such as lambing, shearing and calving. You will work with a variety of livestock to include cattle, sheep and poultry. We go on trips to other farming industries, which will expand the knowledge and experience you will gain on this course. We grow vegetables in the garden to cook and eat which is also working towards an introduction of arable farming. We are very practical based and do a variety of stock and estate maintenance tasks. You’ll learn about the welfare and wellbeing of our animals, and be able to use the skills you have learnt on this course as a great insight to the farming industry.
