Course Overview

This course is for people who want to gain a nationally recognised accounting qualification to progress with their career in finance. It is for students who have completed the Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting and will build on the knowledge and skills gained in the course. It can also enable you to start your own business through the AAT licensed members scheme.

You will work through an eLearning platform, which will develop your accounting knowledge as well as applying your new knowledge with practical examples.

Course information

There are 3 compulsory units which are as follows:

1) Applied Management Accounting
2) Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
3) Internal Accounting Systems and Controls
Plus two specialist units from the following: -Business Tax -Personal Tax -Audit and Assurance -Cash and Financial Management -Credit and Debt Management Learning will be through online self-study with some tutor support.

Study anytime, anywhere. We would recommend approx. 3 hrs per week of self-study, access to tutor support would be available.

There will be five computer-based assessments (exams). The course fee includes the exams if they are sat at one of the Windsor Forest Colleges. Alternatively, students can book their exams at an AAT approved exam centre, any associated costs with this will be at the students’ own expense.
